HEF needs volunteer faculty for the fourth biennial ICEM, an eye surgical training program for Vietnamese doctors scheduled for April 3 to 6, 2012 in Hue, Viet Nam.
ICEM is coordinated jointly by HEF and Hue Central Hospital. The training format includes lectures, dry- and wet-lab demonstrations, and exhibits. The last ICEM in 2010, with 30 faculty members from around the world, was extremely well received by 425 online Vietnamese doctors, the largest number of attendees to date.
