Ophthalmic support staff needed in Indonesia

GEM Logo 75Global Eye Mission is partnering with Bethesda Mission Hospital in West Kalimantan, Indonesia to develop a long term clinical and surgical eye unit to serve the poor in the region of West Kalimantan (Borneo) and beyond.  The Eye Unit is seeking short term (2 weeks or more) or long term (career) ophthalmic technicians/ assistants to help in the development of this long term eye service.  There is an opportunity to become involved in many aspects of the eye unit including clinical patient care, teaching of Indonesian staff, surgical care and management, based on the interest and experience of the support staff person.
